Pictures is thrilled to announce that two of Australia’s brightest stars, Academy Award and BAFTA nominee Margot Robbie and BAFTA nominee Jacob Elordi, will make a triumphant homecoming at the Opening Night Celebration of visionary director Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights” at Sydney’s iconic State Theatre on Thursday, February 12. The event will mark the grand finale of a global tour that will see the stars and film captivate audiences in Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more.

The film, a bold and original take based on Emily Brontë’s classic novel, is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Written, directed and produced by Academy Award and BAFTA winner Emerald Fennell, “Wuthering Heights” is an epic romance that explores the intoxicating and forbidden passion between Cathy (Robbie) and Heathcliff (Elordi) in a sweeping tale of love, lust and madness.

Margot Robbie not only stars in the film but also serves as producer, helping to bring Emerald Fennell’s creative vision to life under her acclaimed LuckyChap banner. The film also boats an impressive creative team, including LuckyChap's Oscar nominee and BAFTA award winning producer Josey McNamara, who will join Robbie and Elordi at the Sydney event.
