Metro Comic Con is bringing David Harbour and Tom Ellis to Melbourne!

Khary Payton from The Walking Dead and Danielle Galligan from Shadow and Bone will join the Stranger Things and Lucifer stars at the convention on July 8th-9th.

Are you sitting down? Just when you thought Metro Comic Con had completed its line-up of celebrity guests, Melbourne’s newest pop culture convention has added two huge names to the list - David Harbour from Stranger Things and Tom Ellis from Lucifer. David Harbour’s two-time Emmy Award nominated performance as Jim Hopper in the hit series Stranger Things has won him acclaim around the world. Over recent years, he has appeared in major films such as Violent Night, Black Widow, Hellboy and Suicide Squad. Among his other extensive film and television credits are Quantum of Solace, Revolutionary Road and The Newsroom. He will soon be seen in theatres in Gran Turismo and reprise his Black Widow role of Red Guardian in Marvel’s Thunderbolts. With his charismatic turn as the delightfully devilish titular character in Lucifer, Tom Ellis captured a legion of admirers over six seasons. Their devotion even saved the show from cancellation and helped relaunch it on Netflix via a fan-led campaign. The Welsh actor is also known for his role as Gary Preston across three seasons and two specials of the UK comedy series Miranda, and his parts in shows like The Fades and Rush.

Recently announced as joining them at Metro Comic Con in Melbourne will be two other stars from popular television and streaming shows, Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) and Danielle Galligan (Shadow and Bone).

Khary Payton is an actor and voice artist most recognised for his role as King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead. He has voiced the DC superhero Cyborg for over 20 years, including in the animated shows Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go! and the film Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. He has also provided the voice for characters such as Penguin King in the recently released animated blockbuster The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Aqualad in the series Young Justice, Grimlock in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Wasabi in Big Hero 6: The Series, and Killer Croc and Azrael in the Batman: Arkham games. Danielle Galligan is an Irish actress and poet who made her television debut with guest roles in Game of Thrones and Krypton and feature film debut in Who We Love. Her first major television role was that of Nina Zenik in Netflix’s adaptation of Shadow and Bone, and she has also appeared in the critically acclaimed series The Great.
