Oz Comic-Con is set to transform the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this June into

the ultimate pop culture playground, bringing fans a massive lineup of celebrity guests, exclusive

experiences and immersive fan-driven content. Whether you're a die-hard sci-fi lover, animation

addict or cosplay enthusiast, Oz Comic-Con Melbourne promises something for every kind of fan.

Leading the charge is Giancarlo Esposito, the legendary actor behind some of television’s most

iconic roles, including Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Moff Gideon in The

Mandalorian and Stan Edgar in The Boys. Joining him is the beloved Catherine Tate, star of Doctor

Who, The Catherine Tate Show and The Office, alongside viral comedy talent and Helluva Boss star

Brandon Rogers.

Anime fans can look forward to meeting Zach Aguilar, the dynamic voice behind Tanjiro in Demon

Slayer, Aether in Genshin Impact, and Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Meanwhile, long-time

fans of cult television will be thrilled to see Renée O’Connor, known for her iconic role as

Gabrielle in Xena: Warrior Princess, gracing the Melbourne stage.

The voice acting talent doesn’t stop there - Laila Berzins (Diablo IV, Genshin Impact, Arcane) and

Ratana (Monster Hunter, Fire Emblem: Heroes) are also set to appear, bringing their unique

characters to life during panels and meet-and-greets.

Also joining the stellar guest list is Australian actress Emilie de Ravin, best known for her roles in

Lost, Roswell and Once Upon a Time. Her appearance is set to be a highlight for fans of fantasy and

sci-fi television alike.

Melbourne will also host a rare appearance by the creative minds behind Cyanide & Happiness: Rob

DenBleyker, Kris Wilson and Adam Nusrallah, marking their first-ever visit to Australia. Fans

of the beloved webcomic and animated series will have a chance to meet the team, grab signed

merch and even commission custom sketches.

Adding a behind-the-scenes layer to the event is Amy Parris, acclaimed costume designer behind

hit shows like Stranger Things, Yellowjackets and Westworld, who will offer insights into the craft of

character design and storytelling through wardrobe. Taking audiences even deeper into the Upside

Down, Amy will be bringing five original screen-worn costumes from Stranger Things, giving

attendees an up-close look at the intricate details and craftsmanship behind the iconic looks worn by

Eddie, Steve, Hopper, Dustin and Lucas. Joining her is international cosplay sensation and costume

designer Riki ‘Riddle’ Lecot, who will bring her signature style and expertise to the Melbourne

cosplay scene through panels, workshops and meet-ups.

Additionally, Oz Comic-Con is giving a spotlight to content creators with the introduction of

Creators Live to the show, headed up by online sensation and cursed cosplay master - Rhyleep!

Cosplay continues to be a centrepiece of the Oz Comic-Con experience, with Melbourne hosting

the Oz Comic-Con Championships of Cosplay, one of the most prestigious cosplay

competitions in the country. Entrants will compete for a $1500 cash prize and the chance to be

immortalised in Oz Comic-Con’s Hall of Fame. Throughout the weekend, cosplayers of all levels can

celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and community with dedicated cosplay spaces, photoshoots, and

stage showcases.

Beyond celebrity guests, Melbourne attendees can explore a vibrant Artist Alley, featuring

illustrators, indie comic creators, and renowned authors. With original artworks, book signings, and

one-on-one creative interactions, fans can support the artists shaping the future of pop culture

storytelling.

Audible invites fans to test their knowledge of beloved Sci-Fi and Fantasy titles in an immersive,

escape room-style experience. Through a series of audio and interactive challenges, participants will

engage with themed props and clues to unlock the secrets of the Audible Secret Library.

The show floor will be buzzing with gaming zones, panel stages, retail vendors, and interactive

workshops. From uncovering exclusive pop culture merchandise to diving into behind-the-scenes

industry chats, every corner of Oz Comic-Con Melbourne is built for discovery and fandom.

And this is just the beginning. With more announcements on the horizon, Oz Comic-Con

Melbourne is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting events on the fan calendar.
