Pokémon GO City Safari: Sydney

Pokémon GO City Safari is coming to Sydney, Australia, on December 13 and 14, 2025. This will be Australia’s very first City Safari!

Set off on a citywide adventure as you discover Sydney’s harbour, landmarks, and hidden gems, while meeting new friends and encountering Pokémon along the way. Whether you’re a Sydney local or a first-time visitor, your Pokémon GO City Safari will take you across the city in a whole new way. From historic landmarks to iconic harbour views, get ready for a taste of the city with Pokémon GO by your side!

Event Details

● LOCATION: Sydney, Australia

● DATE: Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, 2025

● TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. AEDT

● TICKET PRICE: AUD$19 (including applicable taxes and fees)

BUY TICKET: Available via the City Safari website

Trainers can purchase a one-day ticket (AUD$19) or upgrade with the Extra Day Add-On (AUD$14) for

both days of adventure. Tickets are first come, first served and are nonrefundable (subject to applicable

law and the Terms of Service).

GO Stamp Rally

Sydney’s City Safari will feature a Pokémon GO Stamp Rally across the following landmarks and iconic

locations.

● Darling Harbour

● Sydney City Centre

● Royal Botanic Gardens

● Circular Quay

● Milsons Point

● Manly Beach

● Centennial Park

Visit participating PokéStops and spin their Photo Discs to collect up to eight stamps, each awarding an

encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat. Stamp designs change based on how long you “press,”

making every stamp unique!

The stamp rally can be completed once per day during event hours.

Special Pokémon Encounters

Sydney’s streets will come alive with event-themed Pokémon throughout the city, including Mudbray, the

Donkey Pokémon, exclusive to City Safari 2025 events. Additionally, special Pokémon will appear across

Sydney during the event.

Safari booth in Darling Harbour, situated under the Pier Street Underpass near Darling Square, to pick

How to Purchase Tickets

Tickets are available via the Pokémon GO app:

1. In Map View, tap the Main Menu → Events.

2. Select Pokémon GO City Safari: Sydney.

3. Choose your date, add-ons, or gift tickets to friends.

4. Complete payment and keep your confirmation email.

To gift a ticket, you must be Great Friends or higher with the recipient. All tickets purchased in one

order must be for the same date and time.
